Celebrate! Race of Recognition Dinner

April 23 @ 5:00PM — 9:00PM

Google corrected their oversight by placing 236 Palestinian villages on Google Maps — all because Rebuilding Alliance and a remarkable network of friends asked, pushed, prodded, and persevered!

Join us for a lovely evening of food, music, and celebration at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation in Mountain View on April 23rd!

There are currently no tickets available for this event, but you can still make a donation.

Keynote Speakers accepting the Peacemaker Award in person*:

-U.S. Representative Anna G. Eshoo (CA District 14)
who persistently called Google to urge them to add all the Palestinian villages in Area C and works tirelessly to keep them standing; (Please note: Rep. Eshoo will speak at 6pm)

-George Zeidan, co-founder of Right to Movement – Palestine
who brought nine Palestinian marathoners to run from Google to Apple last October to get their attention! Their interview on AJ+ received over 750,000 views!

Come enjoy a delicious dinner provided by Sajj Restaurant, with tasty appetizers provided by Waterfront Restaurant! Over dessert, enjoy the beautiful music of violin virtuoso Georges Lammam and a raffle with fantastic prizes as we raise funds to launch "Mapping Palestine: a Community Mapathon Program" to put all the missing places in each village on the maps and building advocacy to keep them standing.

* In absentia, the Peacemaker Award will be presented to Bimkom: Planners for Planning Rights and the Geospatial Systems Department of the Palestinian Ministry of Local Governments
